Zoe Wilcox – President

Zoe Wilcox brings a wealth of civic and professional experience to the Michigan Foundation for Education Leadership™ (MFEL). Wilcox has taken on leadership roles in corporate, non-profit and education arenas. She spent 23 years serving Consumers Energy, acted as an administrator at Jackson Community College for five years and four years teaching at the secondary level. Wilcox lives in Jackson with her husband. They have two children and six grandchildren.

Traci Riehl – Executive Director

Traci Riehl brings over 15 years of experience in public and private sectors as well as an extensive background in marketing and public relations. Her passion for training parents as leaders and strong communications skills strengthens the Parent Leadership Institute Network. Riehl was born into the education system surrounded by a family of educators and continues to learn from their experiences as well as her own as a classroom volunteer. Riehl is married to husband, Chad, and has a son and a daughter.

Jean Kordenbrock – Development & Outreach Director

Jean Kordenbrock has served over a decade as in the practice of law, as an executive director, as a key staff person in a leadership office of the Michigan Legislature, and as a consultant managing her own business. Her experience, problem solving ability, and organization skills are great assets in her role with the Parent Leadership Institute Network. As a parent of school-age children, Kordenbrock has an instant connection with the parents in the program. Kordenbrock is married to husband, Bill, and has two sons.
