I applaud you for that commitment and for your hard work between these yearly gatherings to realize the promise of education for learners of all ages in our state.

Michigan—is focused on one of the most important questions we face in education—how can we as “analog adults” guide the first digital generation to new levels of educational achievement? This generation—the kids who can send six text messages in the time it takes them to download the latest song—holds the key to Michigan’s future.  It is incumbent on all of us to find new ways to help them learn and grow to their full potential.
