Monday, April 19

7:30 a.m.

Doors open for registration, continental breakfast and visits with vendors.

8:30 a.m.

Welcome and morning general session featuring Michigan Superintendent for Public Instruction Mike Flanagan and a Michigan Department of Education panel discussion on recent education reform legislation with audience Q&A. The panel will be moderated by Grand Rapids Press education reporter, Dave Murray.

11 a.m.

Morning breakout session.

12 noon

Lunch.

12:30 p.m.

Keynote address by Paul Vallas, superintendent of the Louisiana Recovery School District.

1:30 p.m.

Afternoon breakout session.

2:30 p.m.

Closing general session featuring Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm.
